Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has expressed relief and jubilation following the release of her elder brother, Sammy Daniels, from prison.

Sammy was granted ₦5 million bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, and released after meeting all bail conditions. His detention had sparked widespread online attention under the hashtag #FreeSammy, as the circumstances surrounding his arrest raised public concern.

Reacting on Instagram, Regina shared a video call with her brother, writing:

“People love me ooo, I no believe am walai, and that makes me emotional. I love you so much my brother. Nobody go try beat me again. The kind love I have received during this period makes me feel good.”

The actress added that the support she received from fans and well-wishers helped her stay strong amid the family turmoil, referencing her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who had been involved in the legal dispute.

Sammy was previously arrested and charged to an Abuja court, reportedly due to tensions arising from Regina Daniels’ ongoing personal issues, with allegations of domestic and substance abuse being publicly raised. Both Regina and Senator Nwoko have denied accusations levelled against them.

Regina’s posts suggest that the episode has strengthened her resolve, with the actress vowing that no one will challenge her again, emphasizing gratitude for public support.
