Nigeria is set to take its industrial diplomacy across the African continent with the announcement of the Made in Nigeria All Africa Fair Edition 2026, a series of exhibitions and economic forums that will spotlight Nigerian brands, products, and services in multiple African capitals.
The initiative, organised by the Made in Nigeria Project Office (MAiNPro) under the supervision of the Federal Government of Nigeria, will run through West, East, South, North, and Central Africa, offering a platform for trade, investment, and regional collaboration.
According to the schedule, exhibitions will be held in Accra, Ghana (West Africa); Nairobi, Kenya; Dodoma, Tanzania; Kinshasa, Congo (East Africa); Windhoek, Namibia; Gaborone, Botswana; Johannesburg, South Africa (Southern Africa); Casablanca, Morocco (North Africa); and Malabo, Equatorial Guinea (Central Africa). A special Nigeria–ECOWAS Products Tripartite Fair will also take place in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The Pan-African fair is designed to promote intra-African trade, regional value chains, and economic diversification, in line with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Organisers say the exhibitions will serve as gateways for Nigerian products to gain stronger presence in African markets.
Hon. Nwabueze George, Executive Director and National Coordinator of the Made in Nigeria Project Office, described the All Africa Fair as a historic opportunity. “For the first time, we are taking the Made in Nigeria message to every region of Africa. This is about positioning Nigeria as the continent’s leading production hub, deepening regional trade, and ensuring that our local products compete effectively across borders,” he said.
The 2026 programme will also feature Made in Nigeria Awards, investment forums, and cultural showcases, with participation from African governments, business leaders, and development institutions. Organisers believe the initiative will strengthen Nigeria’s role in driving Africa’s industrialisation and self-reliance.
Backed by the Federal Government of Nigeria and supported by agencies such as the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) and the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), the fair is expected to become a landmark event for African economic integration and cross-border collaboration.
