“Even My Solar Is Off” – Cute Abiola Knocks Tinubu Over Electricity Crisis

Nigerian comedian and skit maker, The Cute Abiola, has criticised President Bola Tinubu over Nigeria’s electricity situation, lamenting that even his solar power supply had stopped working.

The entertainer expressed his frustration in a video shared online, appealing to the President to address the persistent power challenges affecting Nigerians.

In the video, Cute Abiola complained about the heat and difficulties caused by the lack of electricity, urging the government to provide relief.

“President Tinubu, my solar is off. Please, for God’s sake, help us. My solar is off right now. Please, everywhere is hot. The suffering is too much. Please, there’s no light. Abeg,” he said.

The comedian also took aim at what he portrayed as the government’s focus on Tinubu’s possible re-election while Nigerians continue to face economic and infrastructural challenges.

He ended his remarks with a sarcastic comment about the limitations of relying on alternative power sources, particularly solar energy.

“Buy solar, buy solar. Solar sef dey off,” he said.

His comments have drawn attention to the electricity challenges facing households and businesses, as many Nigerians rely on alternative power sources to cope with unreliable public electricity supply.
