The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will begin on Wednesday, August 5, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The scheme disclosed the development in a statement issued on Monday by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, confirming that the three-week orientation programme will run from August 5 to August 25, 2026.
According to the NYSC, prospective corps members can now log into their dashboards to access their Call-up Numbers, while Call-up Letters will be released at a later date.
“Accordingly, Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course,” the statement said.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year, describing their mobilisation as the next step after successfully completing their studies in institutions within and outside Nigeria.
He urged the incoming corps members to prepare adequately for the orientation exercise and reminded them of the importance of observing all safety measures while travelling to their assigned camps.
“He wishes them a safe journey to their respective Orientation Camps and strongly advises them to avoid travelling at night. The Director General also urges them to strictly adhere to all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the camps,” the statement added.
The announcement follows the successful completion of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation exercise, which was conducted nationwide between June 10 and June 30.
However, the exercise in Niger State was held later, from July 7 to July 27, at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja, after the state’s orientation camp suffered damage that made it unsuitable for use.
The NYSC advised all prospective corps members to regularly monitor their dashboards and official communication channels for further updates regarding their Call-up Letters and other mobilisation information.
