The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding his 2027 second-term ambitions, citing insecurity, economic challenges, and deceitful advisers as potential obstacles.
In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele suggested that Tinubu’s inner circle has spiritually blinded him, preventing him from recognizing the hurdles ahead.
“Tinubu’s second term is shaking. The area of security needs divine intervention, the economy is very flat, and Tinubu is surrounded by liars. Those people coming to you, singing your praises, are your enemies, and you have been blindfolded spiritually,” he said.
The cleric emphasized that while the president may secure a second term, the election period will reveal the extent of challenges posed by unscrupulous advisers. “Most of the people coming to your party have come to mock and lie to you… Psychopaths and deceivers have come closer to you, and they will lie to you to the extent that you will experience complications,” Primate Ayodele added.
He further identified the South-East and North regions of Nigeria as potential trouble spots, noting that they remain unresolved in the context of Tinubu’s political strategy. “You will have major problems in the north and south east, those zones are not yet fixed for you, and I don’t know if there is any remedy,” he said.
Primate Ayodele concluded by urging Nigerians to seek divine guidance to ensure a credible and peaceful 2027 election. His warnings underline the intersection of spiritual counsel and political strategy in Nigeria’s upcoming electoral landscape.
