Kun Khalifat FC midfielder Nnorom Nmesoma has expressed optimism as his Owerri-based club prepares for the final five matches of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The team, currently at the bottom of the NPFL table with 36 points from 33 games, faces crucial fixtures against Warri Wolves, Plateau United, Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors, and Wikki Tourists.
Despite their league position, Nmesoma said the squad is motivated and determined to finish the season strongly. “As players, we are in good spirits as we have been on a positive run, so confidence is high,” he told Kun Khalifat FC media.
He added, “We know that the stakes are high, especially going into these five remaining fixtures. Everyone will go into the game fully focused and confident so we can do our best.”
Nmesoma’s comments underline the team’s determination to fight for pride and secure results that could impact their final standing in the league, emphasizing focus, unity, and resilience as they approach the season’s closing matches.
