The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed Murtala Sule Garo as the new Deputy Governor of Kano State, following a formal screening process conducted during plenary.

The confirmation took place under the leadership of Speaker Jibril Isma’il Falgore after lawmakers reviewed the nomination and unanimously adopted the committee’s report.

Garo’s appointment comes after the resignation of the former Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, which created a vacancy in the state’s executive arm.
