Tension has gripped the family of the popular Nigerian gospel music duo, Adegbodu Twins, after armed robbers reportedly invaded their home just days after the burial of one half of the group, Taiwo Adegbodu.

The attack, which occurred on Tuesday night around 9pm, has left the surviving twin, Kehinde Adegbodu, and his family in fear, following what he described as a violent and traumatic experience inside their residence.

In a video shared online on Thursday, Kehinde revealed that the attackers stormed the house and carted away valuables including clothes, shoes, mobile phones, and gold items.

He expressed deep concern over the safety of his family, noting that the incident happened shortly after the burial of his twin brother, who passed away on March 1, 2026, and was laid to rest on March 31.

Kehinde also raised suspicion that the attackers may have targeted money donated for his late brother’s burial, although he insisted that no such funds were kept at the house.

According to him, one of the intruders allegedly made a phone call during the operation, stating that he was not at home while the robbers met his brother’s wife and children, who were left terrified during the invasion.

The singer further explained that he had already used burial donations for arrangements and completion of their unfinished building where his late brother was interred, dismissing claims that he was in possession of cash at home.

Visibly distressed, Kehinde appealed for calm and protection, stressing that his family had been left traumatized by the incident and urging that they be spared from further attacks.

He also called for forgiveness from anyone who may feel offended by him, insisting he is unaware of any wrongdoing that could justify the assault.

The incident has sparked concern among fans and followers, especially given the recent loss in the family and the emotional strain surrounding the burial period.
