Seyi Tinubu Named in Controversy
The dispute escalated after allegations surfaced involving Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
VeryDarkMan alleged that Seyi Tinubu financially supported King Mitchy’s charity activities, claiming she received ₦100 million. He also made further unverified claims about the nature of their relationship and alleged threats to his safety.
Seyi Tinubu responded by clarifying that his support for King Mitchy was purely philanthropic, stating that he had extended similar assistance to others.
King Mitchy, in her reaction, said she had been invited to Abuja and was well taken care of for five days. She later apologised for aspects of the controversy and referred to Tinubu as her “boss.”
Ooni of Ife Mention Sparks Backlash
The feud took another turn when King Mitchy claimed that a prominent monarch had contacted her, identifying him as Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
She shared what she described as a message from the royal father, but the claim was swiftly denied. A traditional ruler, Oba Omotoyosi Bayo Akinyele, publicly defended the Ooni, stating that the message did not originate from him and rejecting any association with the influencer.
King Mitchy later issued multiple apologies, including a public display of remorse, admitting it was wrong to involve the monarch in her dispute.

Content creator Livinus Nwosu also became part of the controversy after visiting a school reportedly renovated by King Mitchy.
He criticised the state of the project in a video, prompting backlash from supporters of both parties, who accused him of interfering in the feud.
King Mitchy later responded, explaining the challenges behind the incomplete renovation and outlining plans to complete the project.
Nasboi’s Role in Apology Revealed
Another figure caught in the crossfire is content creator and musician Nasboi.
King Mitchy claimed that Nasboi persuaded her to issue an apology to VeryDarkMan, adding that he helped produce and edit the video and guided her on what to say.
