Nigerian critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has caused a fresh online uproar after playing an alleged bedroom audio of influencer King Mitchy during a TikTok live with comedian Nasboi. The video quickly went viral, dominating conversations across social media.
The feud began when King Mitchy showcased a school renovation in Delta State, claiming she completed it in six days as part of her charitable work. She later accused VDM of hoarding NGO donations without delivering visible projects.
VDM fired back, questioning the authenticity of her renovation and alleging that she was being sponsored by Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s president. The dispute escalated with both parties staging dramatic actions online. Mitchy allegedly appeared in a video consuming a harmful substance, sparking false claims of her death, while VDM staged his own “death” complete with a mock burial.
King Mitchy later issued an Instagram apology to VDM, acknowledging his activism, but he dismissed it as insincere. She later revealed Nasboi advised and filmed the apology. During the TikTok live, Nasboi confirmed his role, prompting VDM to jokingly call him an “adviser” before playing the controversial audio—a move that has reignited the online feud.
