The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has inaugurated 36 newly elected members of its State Executive Council, with Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde officially sworn in as State Chairman.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday at the party’s State Secretariat, where Barr. Abdulmumini Adamu administered the oath of office and presented certificates to the executives. Out of the 36 officials, 29 were sworn in, while seven were absent due to travel commitments, including one in Saudi Arabia and others attending the party’s zonal congress in Gombe State. The remaining officials are expected to take their oaths ahead of the APC national convention.

Key attendees at the inauguration included State Secretary Mustapha Zurami, Zonal Vice Chairmen Yusuf Kawu Gana II and Ibrahim Ahmad (Zone III), Legal Adviser Barr. Rabiu Garba, Assistant Legal Adviser Mohammed A. Umar, State Treasurer Ahmed Abubakar Yaro, Financial Secretary Bilya Usman Burna, and other senior party officials.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated executives, Chairman Tilde pledged to justify the confidence placed in them and provide responsible, God-fearing leadership. He urged committee members to adhere strictly to party rules, perform their duties with integrity, and promote inclusiveness within the party.

Tilde also called on APC members across Bauchi State to support the new leadership as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections. He emphasised reconciliation and integration of party members and vowed to work toward securing victories at all levels, including the presidency, governorship, National Assembly, and State Assembly. Party faithful were encouraged to mobilise residents to ensure the continued success of the APC.
