Kun Khalifat FC has confirmed its return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following successful talks with the League Management Board, bringing an end to its temporary withdrawal from the top flight.

The Owerri-based club announced the development in an official statement on Wednesday, saying the decision followed “positive and constructive discussions” with the NPFL authorities after earlier concerns over what it described as unfair treatment and disproportionate sanctions.

Chief Executive Officer of Kun Khalifat FC, Michael Amaefula, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, noting that the club was pleased to put the dispute behind it and refocus on football.
