Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal, daughter of Fuji star Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (Kwam 1) and Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts & Culture, has denied reports linking her romantically to Nigerian singer Asake.
The rumours began after Dami shared a photo with the singer at a recent event, captioned: “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” sparking speculation among fans and online blogs.
Clarifying the situation, Damilola explained that the photograph was taken during her first meeting with Asake and that there is no romantic connection between them.
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” she wrote on Instagram.
Asake, who is known for keeping his personal life private, has not publicly confirmed any romantic relationship since reportedly parting ways with his Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2014.
