Fyne and Raphael have begun their journey as husband and wife after exchanging marital vows in a church wedding held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Amawire, Orji, in Imo State.
The wedding ceremony took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, drawing family members, ministers of God, friends and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the union and share in the couple’s joy.
Delivering the sermon, Pastor Ferdinand Nwosu preached on the theme “Not Ashamed”, with readings from Genesis 2:21–25. He highlighted the core principles of marriage, encouraging the couple to build a peaceful home anchored on unity, cooperation and total trust in God’s leading.
The cleric advised that marriage should be entered into with purpose and divine direction, stressing the importance of prayer, mutual respect and understanding. He also shared what he described as the “Ten Commandments of Marriage”, urging couples to avoid unnecessary arguments, shun public exposure of private matters, remain faithful, resolve conflicts peacefully, pray together consistently, avoid comparisons and always recognise and nurture the positive qualities in one another.
The ceremony was further enriched by traditional rites and words of encouragement from family members and guests. The chairman of the occasion, Chief Chinedu Igweze, graced the event alongside his wife, Lolo Chioma Igweze. Chief Igweze administered the kola nut prayers, calling on guests to pray earnestly for the couple. He reminded those present that while the couple would play their human role in building their home, God would complete the work and grant them lasting success.
The bride’s mother, Deaconess (MG) Mary Onyenso, expressed heartfelt joy at witnessing the wedding of her last child, offering prayers for long life, prosperity and fruitfulness in the marriage.
Speaking on behalf of the groom’s family, Mr Darlington Nwogu, the elder brother of the groom, congratulated the couple and formally welcomed the bride into the family. He said the family was delighted to receive her and prayed that God would bless the couple with wisdom, sound health and grace to manage their family affairs.
The wedding was marked by celebration, fellowship and warm wishes as guests joined the couple in commemorating the beginning of their new life together.
