Chelsea Football Club has issued a safety advisory for supporters traveling to Naples following an attack on two of its fans on Tuesday, just before the club’s UEFA Champions League match against Napoli on Wednesday evening.

In a statement published on its official website, the Premier League side confirmed the two fans were receiving medical treatment for injuries described as not life-threatening.

“The club is aware of an incident that happened on Tuesday in Naples,” the statement read. Chelsea urged traveling supporters to exercise extreme caution and to follow guidance provided prior to the match.
