Global music icon Beyoncé has officially entered billionaire territory, with Forbes magazine declaring the US singer one of the world’s richest musicians after another year of blockbuster earnings and record-breaking tours.

The 44-year-old star becomes only the fifth musician to reach the milestone, joining an elite group that includes her husband Jay-Z, pop superstar Taylor Swift, rock legend Bruce Springsteen and singer-entrepreneur Rihanna, according to the business publication.

Forbes said Beyoncé’s wealth surge followed several highly lucrative years, anchored by the runaway success of her Renaissance World Tour in 2023, which grossed nearly $600 million worldwide and cemented her position as one of the most powerful live performers of her generation.

She followed that success with a dramatic artistic pivot in 2024, releasing Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that earned critical acclaim and a Grammy Award, further expanding her influence across genres and audiences.

Momentum peaked in 2025, when Beyoncé staged the world’s highest-grossing tour of the year. Forbes estimates she earned $148 million before taxes during the period, ranking her as the third highest-paid musician globally.

While the publication did not disclose her exact net worth, it noted that the bulk of Beyoncé’s fortune stems from her music catalog, touring revenue and ownership of her masters, rather than endorsements alone.

Through her company, Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé has also built a wider business empire spanning fashion, hair care and spirits, reinforcing her reputation not just as a cultural force, but as one of the most strategically successful entrepreneurs in modern music.
