VeryDarkMan, the controversial social media activist known for his bold takes, has dropped another explosive revelation—this time dragging Naira Marley, Iyabo Ojo, and Sam Larry back into the spotlight over the ongoing fallout from the Mohbad saga. In a recent TikTok video posted on August 5, 2025, VeryDarkMan disclosed that he advised Naira Marley to press cyberbullying and defamation charges against Iyabo Ojo for allegedly damaging his career and reputation, but the singer opted for divine justice instead.
According to VDM, the plan was to confront Iyabo Ojo at the Lagos State Commissioner of Police’s office, demand her arrest, and push for prosecution. However, he said everything changed when Iyabo, in Yoruba, tendered an emotional apology, prompting Naira Marley to forgive her on the spot. “I almost died where I was sitting,” VDM exclaimed in frustration. “I was so upset and disappointed.”
The unexpected forgiveness reportedly threw even Sam Larry off balance. VDM claimed that Sam Larry, who was also at the meeting, began protesting and wept when he saw Naira Marley abandon the plan to detain Iyabo. “I was giving Naira Marley signs not to accept it,” VDM said. “I knew she wouldn’t keep her end of the agreement.”
The revelation has ignited a fresh wave of reactions on social media, with fans and critics debating Naira Marley’s choice to extend forgiveness in a matter that once left his reputation in ruins. Many followers recall how Iyabo Ojo was one of the loudest voices in the “Justice for Mohbad” campaign, and her accusations played a major role in the public trial of the Marlian label boss.
VDM argued that the apology was only a temporary PR stunt and expressed doubts over Iyabo’s sincerity. “Iyabo Ojo is smart. She knew what she was doing. But she won’t keep her promise, and that’s why I wanted Naira to act,” he insisted.
It will be recalled that in April 2025, the court cleared Naira Marley and Sam Larry of any direct involvement in Mohbad’s tragic death. The development followed months of intense social media trials and public outcry that painted both men as prime suspects in the late singer’s troubles.
The resurfaced drama is once again reigniting conversations around the case, public apologies, and the role of influencers in criminal cases.
