Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that her mother’s Lagos office was deliberately targeted in a fire incident linked to threats she received shortly after her wedding to Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux. The chilling revelation has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry, with fans and celebrities demanding answers.

According to Priscilla, a threatening letter was delivered to her mother’s office shortly after her lavish wedding ceremony in Dar es Salaam in May 2025. The unsigned note, allegedly from an “aggrieved group,” warned that her marriage would be destroyed and claimed she had “put someone’s life in trouble.” The letter further threatened to “monitor” Iyabo Ojo’s movements and sabotage her family’s happiness within three months.

Iyabo, who was reportedly out of the country at the time, did not discover the letter until she returned to Nigeria. The office blaze, which occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, has now raised questions about whether the threats were part of a coordinated attack. Priscilla, visibly shaken but determined, stated that CCTV footage is being reviewed to identify the messenger and aid police investigation.

Iyabo Ojo has since addressed the public via her Instagram page, thanking the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for responding quickly to the fire and preventing any loss of life. She reaffirmed her faith, writing, “The devil tested us today, but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better.”

Fans have rallied around the Ojo family, calling for increased security and urging the police to investigate the source of the threat. Meanwhile, speculation continues to swirl about who may be behind the sinister letter and whether the fire was an act of arson.

This marks the second public incident tied to the aftermath of Priscilla’s wedding, raising alarms about targeted harassment against public figures and their families. Both mother and daughter have vowed not to be intimidated by fear tactics.

Security agencies have yet to issue an official statement, but close sources confirm the case is now under active investigation with surveillance footage expected to be released soon.
