VeryDarkMan has thrown the internet into frenzy once again, dropping a fiery diss track that drags Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, singer Portable, and controversial cleric Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin in one scathing sweep.
Targeting Governor Okpebholo first, the activist mocked the governor’s leaked WAEC result, which allegedly showed an “E8” grade — a revelation that has reignited debate about the credibility of leadership qualifications. In his lyrics, VDM fired, “E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you.” The jab immediately sparked backlash for Nigeria’s electoral body and its vetting process.
Portable wasn’t spared either. Referencing the singer’s recent altercation involving a tricycle theft saga that led to public humiliation and alleged arrest, VeryDarkMan didn’t hold back, saying Portable represents everything wrong with fame without discipline. The diss comes just weeks after the pair clashed publicly on Instagram.
Clergyman Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin became the third target, as VeryDarkMan ridiculed his so-called “healing water” and accused him of exploiting vulnerable believers. His verse mocked what he called “miracle marketing for the desperate.”
The diss track, posted to his Instagram (@verydarkblackman), has since gone viral, attracting a flood of hot takes and hilarious reactions. While some praised his lyrical boldness, others accused him of crossing ethical lines.
“VDM na werey,” one user posted. “I love this level of pettiness,” wrote another. Others warned him to be careful with his provocations, especially in dealing with powerful religious figures.
As the video racks up views and reposts, it’s clear the firebrand influencer has once again seized the internet’s attention — and isn’t letting go anytime soon.
