The duo was reportedly traveling back to Abuja after visiting their hometown when the fatal incident occurred.
Eyewitness accounts reveal that the accident happened along the dreaded Okigwe–Enugu highway, notorious for its poor road conditions and frequent deadly crashes. Sources close to the family confirmed that the vehicle conveying the two young men lost control due to a suspected burst tire, leading to a catastrophic collision with an oncoming truck.
