Months after their separation in January 2025, the Nollywood actress made a bold statement on Thursday, March 27, by wiping her entire Instagram page and addressing herself without 2Baba’s surname for the first time in over a decade.
“To my family and friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world—God bless you for the outpouring of love,” she wrote, expressing gratitude to her supporters.
While Annie has removed ‘Idibia’ from her latest post, her Instagram handle still reads ‘Annie Idibia1,’ sparking speculation on whether she will make a complete digital rebrand.
Her return to social media has reignited conversations about her 12-year marriage with 2Baba, which ended after years of public scrutiny and personal challenges.
