Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has criticized Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, accusing him of taking advantage of socialite Sophia Egbueje after allegedly failing to fulfill his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.

Reacting to the viral leaked audio where Sophia accused Burna Boy of reneging on his alleged deal after a one-night stand, Okorie argued that the singer should have honored his word, especially as a public figure and role model.

“You’re supposed to be human. God made you a mega superstar for a reason—to advocate for those who cannot speak and help those in need. But instead, you took advantage of this girl because she told you her price.”

The actress further defended Sophia, insisting that she was upfront about her expectations and shouldn’t be criticized.

“She named her price—she sees herself as big as a Lamborghini. If you can afford that, you can sleep with her. That’s what she said. And you, a public figure, chose to take advantage instead of setting a better example.”

Angela Okorie’s take has intensified the debate surrounding the controversial saga, as more celebrities continue to weigh in. While some believe Burna Boy owes no obligations, others argue that his status as an A-list star should come with a greater sense of responsibility.
