Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has reflected on his time in charge of Arsenal.

Emery replaced the Gunners legendary boss, Arsene Wenger, at the Emirates.

However, he was sacked after 18 months in November 2019 and replaced by Mikel Arteta.

Emery and Arteta will go head-to-head in the Premier League this Saturday at Villa Park.

“I had experience in different clubs and countries, and of course at Arsenal that was very important,” Emery told reporters on Friday.

“I always tried to learn with the players and coaches that I had. The experiences I have had [at Arsenal and other clubs across Europe] are the most important for me now, and in the present and the future.”
