Prophet Bisi Olujobi of the Wisdom Church of Christ International has stated that no Western intervention could save African countries from more coups.

Olujobi said the only way to stop the unlawful seizure of power by the military is for African leaders to do the right thing in serving the people and giving them the dividends of democracy.

DAILY POST recalls that the military took over power recently in Niger and Gabon, amid jubilations by citizens who were supposed to condemn the coups.

Speaking in a statement made available to DAILY POST, Olujobi reiterated, “As I have said in my 40 prophecies earlier in the year, our leaders must start doing what is right by serving the people wholeheartedly.”

Olujobi maintained that efforts by Western powers to stop military take-over in Africa would not succeed if the leaders in Africa refuse to practice true democracy that benefits the masses.

Speaking on the forthcoming Kogi governorship election, the Cleric revealed that he has “foreseen a change of power in Kogi State at the governorship election in November.”

He said the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi, Usman Ododo, “has no chance in clinching victory at the polls, except a miracle of the century happens.”

He prophesied that another party would take over the seat of government from the APC in Kogi State.

However, he urged the Kogi people to “embark on strategic prayer warfare,” asking them to re-strategise and defend their votes.

The Prophet also berated Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State over what he termed the “ill-treatment” being meted out to his Deputy, Philip Shaibu.

Olujobi said Obaseki’s “antics” will fail in Edo as the election draws near, urging Shaibu to pray because he saw him triumph “even if the whole state conspires against him.”

In another development, Olujobi charged the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom of Ondo State, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinrutan, to pray fervently, stressing that, “I see a thick conspiracy hovering around his Kingdom.”

He said, “The man should watch his back as enemies are loitering to destabilise his Kingdom. Akinrutan should also pray against sudden health challenges.”
