The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has paid tribute to the country’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.

The NFF celebrated the Super Falcons on their official Twitter handle with a message and two pictures.

“Happy International women’s day! @NGSuper_Falcons #SoarSuperFalcons,” reads the tweet.

The Super Falcons are Africa’s most successful women’s national team.

The Falcons have won the African title nine times and also attended every edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
