Nigerian international sensation Tems has earned 3 nominations for the 2023 Grammy Award in what is a record-breaking night for Afrobeats.
The nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards were announced on Tuesday 15th, November 2022 and Nigerian artist Tems earned three nominations and Burna Boy earned two nominations.
Tems was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance for her contributions to Future‘s ‘Wait For U’. She earned her third nomination as a featured artist in Beyonce‘s Album of the Year nominated ‘Renaissance’.
Burna Boy was nominated for the World Album category with ‘Love, Damini’ and the Global Song category for his smash hit ‘Last Last’.
