Three children have been confirmed dead in a fire incident that took place in Rumuchakara community, Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers State.
The fire outbreak was said to have occurred at 9pm on Monday.
5 children were affected by the inferno 3 of whom have been confirmed dead.

The remaining two are said to be receiving treatment in the Hospital.
Some eyewitnesses said the fire may have been caused by candlelight which the children were studying before sleeping off.
The parents of the victims who were said to be in their own room while the fire was raging sustained injuries while trying to escape.
