Bandits have reportedly blocked the Abuja-Kaduna highway.

This was made known by former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani on Thursday afternoon.

Following the bombing of the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigana axis on Monday night.

The terrorists had killed travellers on the train and kidnapped others, leaving many more injured.

Train services were temporary were also suspended on that route by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

Travellers had opted for road journeys despite the risk.

And Sani, who represented Kaduna central district in the 8th national assembly, said he just “got a distress call that Bandits in large numbers have again blocked the Kaduna-Abuja road this afternoon. Travellers are speedily turning backwards,” in a tweet on Thursday afternoon.
