Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has opened up on why he dedicated a white garment church last September.

He said his decision to dedicate the white garment church, which brought him criticisms, was guided by a divine instruction.

The cleric spoke on Sunday during a special sermon titled, ‘Going Higher (Part 54)’.

Recall that the Nigerian foremost cleric had in September, 2021, dedicated the Lagos cathedral of the Love of Christ Generation Church C&S (Worldwide).

The church was founded by Reverend Esther Ajayi and Adeboye, popularly called Daddy G.O, received sweeping criticisms by Pentecostals.

He, however, gave explanation to his decision on Sunday, saying he was under God’s instruction to dedicate Ajayi’s church.

He cited some portions of the bible where Apostle Peter also came under heavy criticism for visiting a ‘gentile’, and had to say that the spirit made him go.

Adeboye added, “Whether you believe it or not, I got quite a lot of queries recently from well-meaning Christians: ‘Daddy GO Sir, we learnt that you went to a white garment church to dedicate a church. You of all people?”
