African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Kingsley Moghalu has reacted as the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation directed that all offices should be closed at 1.00pm today.

Recall that a statement issued by Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, Permanent Secretary (Service Welfare Office) for Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, said the order was to enable civil servants to be present at the MKO Abiola Stadium, to support and cheer up the Super Eagles as they go against the Black Stars of Ghana.

He wondered what will happen to the hours of potential productivity that will be lost.

“I love @NGSuperEagles and support them. But, isn’t this going overboard?

“What about the hours of potential productivity that will be lost by closing down the civil service at 1 pm tomorrow for the purpose of a football match?

“How productive are our civil servants anyway?”
