Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly, has lamented the incessant attacks on the northwestern part of the country by bandits and other terrorist groups.

DAILY POST reports that parts of the region, mostly Kaduna and Niger states, have continued to boil following attacks on communities by the assailants.

Recall that the Kaduna State Government yesterday said bandits killed a total number of 1,192 and abducted 3,348 people in the state in 2021.

Lamenting the continuous attacks, the former lawmaker said the only time the region gets relief from the attacks is when President Muhammadu Buhari visits.

Senator Shehu Sani stated this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

He said, “Bandits continue to kill in Kaduna, Niger and other states in the North West; the only time respite comes is whenever the president visits”.
