Gov. Uzodinma impressed with progress in Owerri-Orlu, Owerri-Okigwe roads construction

Governor Hope Uzodinma has reassured Imolites that his administration is poised to deliver quality infrastructure in the state.

Governor Uzodinma who talked about the progress on the ongoing road construction in Owerri-Orlu and Owerri-Okigwe roads, said the road projects will link the senatorial zones for economic progress in the state.

He said that the company handling both projects has continued to advance the project towards its scheduled completion within the estimated timeframe, adding that quality and durability are the yardsticks of his administration.

“Since the commencement of the project, it has remained on course continuously. When completed, the road will have a dual carriageway and standard drains on both sides. Over 70% of the road has been asphalted while serious work is ongoing at the other ends.”

“Poised towards delivering quality infrastructure to the good people of Imo State, His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma remains resolute on timely delivery of all ongoing projects within the State for the good of the people” a government statement reads.

Meanwhile, Governor Hope Uzodimma has marked the last Sunday of January with a Holy Mass, adding that his administration has witnessed tremendous progress in the pursuit of our economic growth and infrastructural development across the State.

“While we are engaged and committed to these reforms, we remain prayerful to Almighty God for He is our Rock and Refuge, providing a fortress over us”, the governor wrote.
