Queen Maureen Stephen Jurka who previously said that her pet project “will not only change lives, but build people who will be set on the path of greatness in our generation” has unveiled it as ‘Nigeria To The World Talent Unseen NWTU”.
The pet project which is a talent development event, according to the reigning Miss Eminent Nigeria, will kick off this year with huge impacts expected to be made.
‘Nigeria To The World Talent Unseen’, she said will be a continuous project and with the first edition NWTU 2020 expected to kick off in partnership with the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory and Encyclotainment Int’l USA.
Speaking at the event which was held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Onitsha, Anambra State, the wife of State governor, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano who was represented by Barr. Christopher Iberi, charged the beauty queen to be steadfast and focused on her goals.
Dr. Obiano pledged to support the project, adding that it is one that will gainfully engage talented youths in the country.
In his remark, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Obiora Agu hailed Queen Maureen Stephen Jurka’s character, adding that she has done noble in thinking about others before herself.
He praised the initiative, saying that people attended the event because of not only the character of the convener, but because they also believe in her ability to deliver positive ideas.
Queen Maureen Stephen Jurka in her speech revealed that her partnership with Encyclotainment int’l USA as an organization grounded in talent discovery and management, will be key to achieving the set goals, also using the opportunity to thank everyone who has been supporting her all along.
She said that NWTU 2020 will be a platform for musicians, comedians, models, dancers, actors, DJs and others involved in arts.
“My passion is entertainment”, she said, adding that there are millions of talented young Nigerians who need people to give them a platform to showcase what they have.
“Maureen Stephen Jurka Pet Project is all about creating a platform for entertainers in the North, South, East and western parts of Nigeria especially in states where there are a lot of talents but no one has given them the platform to showcase their talents” she said.
Other dignitaries who graced the event are the royal father of the day, HRM Dr. Emmanuel Ugwu (Eze Okwe); Comr. Obijieku Idedora and Chief Muoghalu Kevin Abada.
Others are Prince Obinna Kelvin Ukaobasi; Chief Mrs Okafor, MD Soprom hotels int’l alongside other celebrities.
