Imo State PDP Director General of New Media, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu has been arraigned in court on a 7 count charge after days of being held in custody by the DSS.

The charges which summed up to forgery, impersonation, defamation and libel was heard at the Owerri Magistrate Court, Orlu Road, Imo State with the accused will remain in DSS custody under the directive of the court.

29 year old Ambrose Nwaogwugwu has been in detention at the DSS after being invited over various allegations. Members of the PDP had initially failed to secure his bail, while many Imolites have called on the governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma to pardon him.

The matter was adjourned to 19 June, 2020, while Mr. Nwaogwugwu will remain in DSS custody pending the hearing and determination of his bail application.
