He said the call to arrest him by the Secretary to the State Government , Uche Onyeagocha , was “insensitive” .

He said the arrest order was disrespect to him as a former governor of the state .

Okorocha said , “The arrest order is an open invitation to anarchy or fracas in the state because Imo people will always come out to defend Okorocha.

“It also shows insensitivity on the side of the government in the state because such an arrest order is uncalled for and Onyeaguocha has no right to issue an order of that nature .”

Okorocha, who represents Imo West at the Senate , said no “amount of blackmail ” against him would erase his achievements in the state .

The ex- governor said , “We are aware of what is going on . Governor Ihedioha is using the chairmanship of the state Council of Traditional Rulers to hold Eze Ohiri and Mr Ilomuanya to ransom . He is manipulating them with the issue of the chairmanship of the traditional rulers ’ council .”
