Budding rapper Amarachi Ibe a.k.a Janemara has revealed that she had second thought on participating at the Clorets Fresh Rhymes Campus Showdown which she eventually won.

The “Like That” crooner said that she initially didn’t want to participate in the challenge because she has seen most of such events turning out to be scam, but had to motivate herself to shoulder the challenge.

“I’ve seen challenges and talent hunts; we see a lot of that and all they do is waste the precious time of upcoming artistes and in most cases rip them off their hard earned money”

“Clorets Fresh proved to be different and I think it was all fun from the beginning and I’m glad I won at the end”

Janexmara however revealed that she nearly missed the Showdown which took place at Imo State University Owerri, because she went to Ebonyi State same day, adding it was God’s grace all through as she didn’t miss out at the end of the day.

“As a rapper, there are things I don’t know how they happened in my life. People I’ve met and all of it. People often ask me how I manage to get these things working but I tell them it’s all God”

“I’m grateful to Clorets Fresh for the opportunity to Clorets Fresh Rhymes Campus Showdown and I also want to thank everyone who has been there for me from when I was just a dreamer to this moment” she said
