Senator representing Imo North senatorial district in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu has boosted Okigwe zonal schools with educational materials attracted from UBEC
The educational materials presented to the benefiting schools includes:school desks, visitors chairs, headmaster’s tables and revolving chairs.
Excited students and authorities of the benefiting schools across the senatorial district were full of appreciation and praises for the distinguished senator and the federal government.
While receiving the education materials from UBEC as attracted by Uwajimogu, the Head Mistress of Central School Umueze 1 in Ehime Mbano local government area, Lady C U Osuagwu, expressed delight at the facilitation of the materials and observed that the senator has done very well in fulfilling his avowed commitment to quality representation of Okigwe senatorial district.
She also urged elected representatives to take good care of their constituents, stressing that education is the key to youth and economic development of a people.
Also commending the senator, a community leader, Chief Austin Agbarakwe enumerated many other ongoing projects across the zone with were attracted by Uwajumogu in his first two years in the senator.
He maintained that “With this new effort including the regional water/ dam project also attracted to the ward, Benjamin Uwajumogu has further showcased his love for the people of Umueze 1 and demonstrated that indeed, Umueze 1 is a ward after his heart”.
