The six Local Government Areas in Okigwe zone comprising of Okigwe, Isiala Mbano, Ehime Mbano, Obowo, Ihitte-Uboma and Onuimo indorsed Prince Daniel Kanu, a topnotch gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as the rightful candidate for the governorship position of the party come 2019.

The chairmen and party officials of the six Local Governments in Okigwe zone strongly assured the 2 Million Man March initiator that they have listened to various aspirants gunning for the governorship position under APGA party and found Prince Daniel Kanu’s manifesto as the best among all which is worthy to sail through come 2019 without sentiment.

After listening to Prince Daniel Kanu as he embarked on his Local Government tour to the six LGAs with his blueprint which is comprehensive with realistic and favorable master-plan for Ndi-Imo, Hon. Ebere Idigo of Okigwe LGA, Chief Augustine Amucha of Isiala Mbano and Chief Michael Onyeahialam of Ehime Mbano LGA assured the Vision 2030 campaigner of their strong support adding that it will be better to give the ticket to an aspirant that has a large heart to face the opposition, protect APGA votes and at last get victory for the party than otherwise.

Also in the same opinion were the APGA Chairman at Ihitte-Uboma, Chief Sir Lawrence Abiamiri, Obowo chairman Nze Chris Amawechi and that of Onuimo, Hon. Jude Ozughara who equally doffed their hats for Prince Daniel Kanu for his determination to continue the fight until victory is achieved.

In his contribution, the director general of Prince Daniel Kanu campaign organization, Chief Solo Anosike thanked the Chairmen and their executives for their support as he disclosed that he is from Mbaise in Owerri zone and that he saw a man of valour, God fearing and sincerity with great determination in Prince Daniel Kanu from Orlu zone that made him join in his campaign train hence he enjoined every Imolite to leave sentiment aside and support the only man among the whole lots who will clinch the seat come 2019 from the emperor on the throne, pointing out that if Prince Daniel Kanu is given support from Ndi-Imo in general, the state shall experience tremendous change in the scheme of things when he finally enters Douglas House as the governor.
