Banye is not a new name in Cameroon Urban Music Circles. One popular blog in Nigeria wrote this June 2018, “In 2012, if you hadn’t listened to Chorkoh by Banye, chances are that you were living under a rock. This Mboko Ghetto anthem was the first anglophone song to enter top Music Charts in Cameroon and became an instant classic”

Banye is back with heavier punchlines for his fans and is promising more for this year with his upcoming Ep titled “Ignition” scheduled to be released in September this year.
Banye’s career took a completely different turn after about five years of silence when he signed to Franco Records LLC in January 2018. Banye is full of energy and currently working on multiple projects. He has recorded multiple tracks and shot multiple videos, ready to challenge his creative dynamism to the fullest.
