The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Tuesday night arrested a former governor of Imo State, Achike Udenwa over fraud allegations.

Udenwa is being accused of receiving N350 million during 2015 presidential campaign of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Udenwa, according to Sahara Reporters, was last night grilled by EFCC investigators for several hours at their headquarters, following which he was released after signing a bond to repay the funds to the federal government within two weeks.

He reportedly admitted collecting the funds from former finance minister, Esther Nenadi, who was herself arrested last week.

Nenadi has already indicted a number of PDP officials.
