Imo government has assured Investors of Government preparedness to partner with them and give them the necessary leverage in whatever sector they wish to invest, the move he said is with a view to realizing her policy goal of building a sustainable economy for the State.
Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere made this remark yesterday while receiving in audience a delegation of Turkish Investors in his office whose interest is to invest in the Health Sector.

The number two citizen of Imo State while welcoming the Turkish delegation led by Dr. Cengiz Tokgoz and members of his team reiterated government’s resolve to reforming and transforming the health sector towards making it a world player in health solutions.
He revealed that Rochas Okorocha led administration in a bid to realizing this set goal has gone ahead to build state-of-the-art twenty-seven hospitals, one each in every local government with three specialist hospitals in three senatorial zones.

Speaking further, he reiterated that the major policy thrust of the State in the present dispensation of Governor Okorocha’s administration is to build a productive base, which he said is encapsulated in “industry, industry, industry, employment, employment, employment slogan.
He however hinted that Governor Okorocha’s vision is to making Imo become a destination for medical tourism. He therefore called on the people of Imo State to continue to be supportive and be rest assured that Imo will definitely become a place of pride for wealth creation and opportunities.
Hinting at their mission to Imo state, Dr. Cengiz of Onrigi Medical services said they are in Imo to inspect Imo Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri, Imo State with a view transforming it into a world class desired center for medi-care. Among those in his delegation are Engr. Metin Ongul of Medica Medical equipment, Engr. Gurbuz of Tokgoz Construction and Arc. Duran Sefertas.
Meanwhile the Adviser to the Governor on Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, Barr. Rex Anunobi while speaking earlier noted that the Investors’ visit is as a result of Governor Okorocha’s led investment trips to Turkey.
