A native of Umunoha Okwu in Ikeduru LGA, Imo State, Mr. Kingsley Opara is appealing to the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, public-spirited individuals and organizations to come to his help.

A statement signed by his wife, Mrs Joy Opara has it that the father of two has been paralyzed since February 17, 2011 as a result of electrocution.
The statement said Mr. Opara was cutting a tree for an old women when the a high-tension wire fell on him.
Mr. Opara’s wife stated that they have found a place to treat her husband, but the problem is how to afford N800,000 for the treatment.
The woman lamented that due to the situation, the family could now hardly eat.
She is therefore appealing to the governor and members of the public to help save Mr. Opara who was a mechanic/driver before the incident.
Mrs Opara stated that hunger is now torturing her children due to hardship.
