The Abia State born University Nigeria of Nsuka graduate might be in a big controversy soon alongside LM, another colleague in the rap music genre when their new single titled ‘LLUMINATE’ drops.

K-Large who runs a dual base of Enugu and Lagos will have to forfeit the fruit of his days in school studying Computer Education for music which he is current doing.

Although he believes that no knowledge is a waste, which prompted him to say that he would someday come back to his course of study, his task at hand is to make more of good music of which one of them is ‘ILLUMINATE’ by LMG and himself, Featuring Xcello Maxmello, a song which prompted this short interview with Chinedu Hardy Nwadike of www.otowngist.com.

How do you rate the song?

I feel it’s on point, so I give it 10/10

How does it feel working with LMG?

It’s quite interesting because he has got some real drive for music. It feels good because I really love working with people who are serious and focused

Are you comfortable with ‘illuminate’ as the title of the song?

Yea sure, illuminate means to light up. I’m looking at it from the perspective of getting one shine so that everyone can see what you are made of.

This means I’m cool with the title of the song.

And if people read it that both of you are trying to draw attention of the ‘Illuminate’ everyone knows, what would you say?

I’d refer them to the dictionary meaning of ILLUMINATE. It’s there for everyone to look it up and see.

It is related to the message in the song, which is self pedigree.

That’s what the song is all about and it has got nothing to do with church of Satan.

Would you say the song has top rappers from South-East?

 Sure it does

Do you think both of you can make top ten rappers in South-East?

Why not! Any day, the top is where we belong naturally.

I hate to brag, but I believe a listen to SWAGGIM NA ADA OKU will tell you where I belong.

Owerri and Enugu in terms of music and entertaiment

Well I haven’t spent much time in Owerri, the much I know about the city shows it has got a huge music presence. But Enugu I’d say is still the South-East music and entertainment capital.

Do you see yourself making more presence in Owerri?

Yes for sure, I have a huge fan base there, so it’s only natural that I show them back the love by making my brands available in Owerri.

What are you working on now?

Aside making more hits, I and my record label BOMBSHELTER ENTERTAINMENT are currently working on SWAGGIM NA ADA OKU’s video.

When is it dropping and where are you shooting the video?

Mid Match, we are shooting in South Africa.

Why did you choose South Africa over Nigeria?

We didn’t choose South Africa over Nigeria; we only want to shoot at specific locations there.

What are we to expect in the video?

Goose bumps all over your body while watching it. Lol
