Sylvia Educational Empowerment Development [SEED] Foundation, owned by Queen Sylvia Nouka, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2011 has offered 31 scholarships to the Nigerian girl-child.
The scholarships which will see some of the girls study from Nursery School to University level was offered to people who cannot afford it as part of the activities of the foundation which is working hard to better the fortunes of the girl child in Nigeria.

Speaking in press conference in Owerri, Imo State on Independence Day, Sylvia Nouka accompanied by her team said she had always wanted to help people but her activities where inspired by what she went through as kid.
She said she chose education empowerment because it is the best tool any girl-child could have to safeguard her future and with 16 girls previously empowered, she marked the Independence Day by offering scholarships to 15 other girls at Aba, Abia State.
“I’m from a middle class home and I’m lucky that my father could send me to school, gave me couple of things he could afford.
“I know how hard it was for me to finish up with school, so I could actually do something for people. For the female youths in Nigeria.
“If they can go to school, finish up with school, they can get a job and there’s a lot they can do”, she said.
Queen Nouka went on to say that SEED foundation which was launched 5 years ago has empowered people in both education business and education, adding that she is presently focusing on Eastern Nigeria.
Having kicked off the project in 2015 at Aba, Abia State on Independence Day, she will be moving to her home state, Anambra and then Imo State.
The SEED Project Director, Ambassador Utchay Odims [MCBS] hailed Sylvia on the direction she is going, calling for everyone to support her.
He said that is rare to see people take responsibility for other people’s responsibilities because everyone wants to solve their own problems.
