The Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) has refuted claims of vacancies and ongoing recruitment.

A statement by the communications unit warned the public to be wary of “undesirable elements”.

The agency told unsuspecting job seekers not to fall for job scammers trying to fleece them.

The DIA announced that a manhunt was underway to fish out and prosecute the perpetrators.

“Efforts are being made to apprehend those behind false recruitment alerts for prosecution”, the notification read.
