APC Names Wike, Adeleke, Soludo as Tinubu Campaign Coordinators in Revised PCC List

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo as campaign coordinators for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign in the FCT, Osun and Anambra states, respectively.
The appointments form part of the party’s revised Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) list, according to a notice issued by APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru. The party scheduled the council’s inauguration for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with all members expected to attend.
Wike, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has positioned himself as a key organiser of Tinubu’s re-election campaign in the FCT and Rivers State. Adeleke belongs to the Accord Party, while Soludo is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Their inclusion highlights the cross-party alliances being assembled to support Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Under the revised structure, Vice-President Kashim Shettima will serve as Vice-Chairman I, while APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda will be Vice-Chairman II. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq have been named deputy vice-chairmen. Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo and Dr Maryam Shetty are also included in the revised council.
Separately, Umahi has argued that Tinubu deserves a second term to complete major infrastructure projects across the country. Speaking at the flag-off of the reconstruction and dualisation of the Lambata-Bida-Mokwa-Makera-Kontagora Federal Highway in Niger State, the minister said the administration had commenced 5,100 kilometres of road projects that he expected to be completed during a second term. Umahi also cited completed roads and bridges in the North-Central region, while Governor Umar Bago praised federal infrastructure investments in Niger State and pledged strong electoral support for Tinubu.
