Speed Darlington Threatens to Fight Burna Boy, Eyes Boxing Match After Carter Efe Bout

Music star Speed Darlington has reignited his long-running feud with Burna Boy, saying he would confront and fight the Grammy-winning singer if they meet in person.

Speaking during a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Speed Darlington said he and Burna Boy have no relationship and claimed he would not back down from a physical confrontation with his colleague.

The Akpi crooner also expressed interest in facing Burna Boy in the boxing ring after his scheduled bout with comedian and entertainer Carter Efe.

“Me and Burna Boy have no relationship. If Burna Boy enters any room that I am present in, I will fight and jump on him,” Speed Darlington said. He added that he hoped Burna Boy would be his next opponent if he wins his fight against Carter Efe.

The latest comments come against the backdrop of a bitter dispute between the two entertainers that has previously spilled into the courts.

Speed Darlington was earlier remanded in custody over allegations of defamation involving Burna Boy before he was granted bail. The legal dispute between the two remains before the court.

Their fallout escalated after Speed Darlington made allegations about Burna Boy’s relationship with embattled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and linked the claims to Burna Boy’s Grammy Award. Burna Boy has disputed the allegations, which led to the legal proceedings.
