Abajah All Stars have congratulated Nigerian footballer Raphael Onyedika following his move from Belgian side Club Brugge to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The group described the transfer as a major achievement for the midfielder and a proud moment for Abajah community in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State.
Onyedika, who hails from Abajah, has continued to build his reputation in European football following his performances with Club Brugge and on the international stage.
In a statement signed by its President, Star Anthony Egbule, and Secretary, Star Cosmos O. Onuoha, Abajah All Stars said the player’s progress reflects his talent, hard work and determination.
The group said Onyedika’s move to Germany represents another important step in his career and brings pride not only to Abajah but also to Nwangele and Imo State.
“This remarkable achievement is a source of immense pride to Abajah, Nwangele and Imo State,” the statement said.
Abajah All Stars wished the midfielder a successful and injury-free spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, expressing hope that he would continue to record outstanding achievements in European football.
The group also reaffirmed its support for Onyedika as he begins the next chapter of his career in the Bundesliga.
