Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema has joined global music stars LISA and Anitta on “Goals,” the newly released anthem for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The song, unveiled by FIFA on Thursday, is part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album and has already generated massive excitement among football and music fans worldwide. Released through SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings, the track is now available on major streaming platforms alongside its official music video.
Produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Cirkut, “Goals” blends Afrobeats, K-pop and Latin pop, bringing together three of the world’s most influential music cultures in one record.
FIFA described the project as a celebration of global unity through music and sport, saying the album reflects the international spirit of the World Cup tournament.
“As the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album continues to unfold, it brings together voices from across continents and genres, reflecting the scale and reach of the tournament,” FIFA said in a statement.
“The project mirrors the vibrancy and breadth of the global game, serving as a unifying platform where music and sport intersect – connecting fans, communities, and sounds from around the world.”
Reacting to the collaboration, Rema called the song a defining moment for international music representation on the world stage.
“Three continents, one track…bringing all our sounds together like this is a big moment for music on the world stage,” the Calm Down singer said.
BLACKPINK star LISA also expressed excitement over being part of the official FIFA World Cup soundtrack, noting that music continues to unite people globally.
Brazilian superstar Anitta described her involvement in the project as deeply personal, citing her emotional connection to football and the World Cup as a Brazilian artist.
The trio are scheduled to perform “Goals” live for the first time during the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12, ahead of the tournament’s opening match in the United States.
“Goals” becomes the fifth release from the FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, following previous tracks including Lighter, Por Ella, Echo and Illuminate. The tournament will be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
