Social media personality and entertainer Carter Efe has publicly challenged Grammy-winning singer Wizkid to a celebrity boxing match, escalating a long-running online feud between both personalities.

The outspoken influencer made the bold declaration during a livestream session with music executive E-Money and singer Kcee, shortly after receiving a ₦50 million prize from one of the promoters.

During the live broadcast, Carter Efe, who recently claimed victory in a celebrity boxing bout against Portable, said he was now ready to face bigger names in the entertainment industry — including Wizkid.

In a statement that quickly sparked reactions online, he also said he would like Wizkid’s son, Boluwatife Balogun, to be present during the fight.

“The person I want to fight now is Wizkid, and I want his son, Boluwatife, to be there too. Let him come and collect the championship from me if he is man enough,” he said.

The challenge marks another chapter in Carter Efe’s ongoing tension with the Afrobeats superstar, which reportedly began over perceived lack of recognition after Wizkid released a tribute-inspired track titled “Manchala”.

Carter Efe has repeatedly expressed disappointment, claiming he was not adequately acknowledged or supported by the singer despite his public admiration.

Wizkid, however, has consistently maintained silence on the matter, choosing not to respond publicly to Carter Efe’s repeated provocations or the latest boxing challenge.

The development has since triggered mixed reactions online, with many fans questioning the seriousness of the challenge while others see it as part of growing celebrity entertainment boxing culture in Nigeria.

As of now, there has been no official response from Wizkid or his management regarding the proposed fight.
